Poster for MOTL

In my last post I mentioned I have exciting news and this is it! I did the artwork for the latest Made on the Left market poster!! Typography done by Ali J.



I'm intending to go have a look. It's a bit far for me but fingers crossed my mom is willing to drive me (I don't have a driver's license despite being 23). So if you're in the area of reasonably close by go take a look, I bet there are lots of amazing designers, crafters, arty folk that we didn't even know existed :)

I'll have my regular things, like my Buhni cushions and felt badges. Will also have cards with cute illustrations, 1 inch badge sets, stickers, a couple of tote bags with a painted illustration and drawstring bags with appliques designs. I'll be showing these on the blog as a taster leading up to the event, hope to see you there!

My baby

I have a lovely little kitty named Nöpö who I treat as if she were my baby. A couple of months ago she managed to break one of her little toes and had to have a bandage on for 2 months and couldn't go outside. It was very hard on her because she is obsessed with being outside.



Since she has become older (now a year old) her old climbing thing is a little small for her and she keeps tipping it over and yesterday caught her paw on it as it fell, so I decided she needed something bigger and had the perfect one in mind!





The new castle if so massive compared to her old one! We tied the old one to the new one so she can have a really elaborate castle to climb and I think she's pretty happy :)

My dear neglected blog

Wow, I've been absent for several months now and I am sorry to any readers who were following this blog! You've probably given up on me and stopped reading. I do hope to change that and will try harder to update at least once a week.

So why haven't I been writing? Laziness! Mostly that but also I haven't felt like it and didn't have much to report. Again I apologise!

To bring you up to speed here is what I have been doing (in no particular order):
- watching lots of movies and TV shows and realising how much I love them
- doing my Honours this year and am in the 3rd week of uni so far
- got a couple of illustration jobs
- had my graduation ceremony for my Bachelor in Art (Design)

Not a lot of drawing has been going on sadly. I think I burned myself out a little last year. I have something to reveal soon, I'm just waiting for the print outs to come and then I'll show you all, very exciting stuff! Also once I start doing development work for my final project for uni (I'm writing and illustrating a children's picture book) I'll show bits and pieces of that too.

Also I haven't been reading all my bookmarked blogs! I think I have over a 1000 posts to read, eek! Will get to it some day, I think I read too many.

I'll try not to forget you, my poor little blog!
